The project scope included space planning, sourcing and manufacturing of furniture items for all of the Villa’s interior and exterior living spaces. The design was based on traditional Cycladic architecture using limestone, marble and hardwood decking courtyards and pathways.
The departure point for this project included the development of two mood boards for consideration. Although the overarching style was already captured in the client brief, Arctik submitted two mood boards to inform the nuances and interpretation of the Greek inspired Villa.
As informed by the approved mood board, modern and minimalistic finishes were used throughout the design.
Hues of white and textured feature walls give an unmistakably Greek appeal to the overall design. Marble is used throughout the residence to create a sense of opulence, whilst washed cotton gives the softer furnishings a cosy yet highly sophisticated feel.
